Our Silver Duckwing fertile eggs are produced from carefully selected breeding birds, with a focus on health, type, fertility and strong, healthy chicks.

Silver Duckwings are a beautiful addition to the backyard flock, with their striking traditional colouring and attractive contrast between males and females as they mature. Our breeding birds are selected not only for appearance, but also for the qualities we value within our flock — vigour, sound condition, fertility and desirable laying characteristics.

Eggs are collected fresh, carefully inspected and appropriately stored before being securely packed for their journey to you. We only send eggs that we would be happy to place into our own incubators.

Please keep in mind that fertile eggs are a natural, live product, and purchasing fertile eggs does not guarantee that every egg will develop or hatch.

While we take every care to provide fresh, fertile and well-packed eggs, we cannot guarantee fertility or hatch rates once eggs leave our care.

Hatching results can be affected by many factors outside of our control, including:

• Handling and conditions during postage

• Temperature fluctuations during transport

• Detached or damaged air cells

• Storage after delivery

• Incubator temperature and humidity

• Turning and ventilation

• Incubation technique and experience

• Natural variation between individual eggs

Transport can affect an egg internally even when the shell arrives completely intact.

For posted eggs, we recommend allowing them to rest point-down for 12–24 hours after arrival before beginning incubation. Eggs can then be candled around day 7–10 to assess development.

Due to the nature of fertile hatching eggs, we do not offer refunds, replacements or exchanges for eggs that fail to develop or hatch. Any eggs damaged during delivery should be photographed and reported to us within 24 hours of arrival.
